Brinda awoke from a light slumber, having dozed off while waiting for Adhiraj to return. She found herself seated in the dining room chair, her back aching as she attempted to sit up. Glancing at the clock, she realized it was four in the morning and Adhiraj had not yet arrived.
Frustrated, Brinda tried calling Adhiraj again, only to find his phone switched off. Her heart raced with anxiety as she decided to inform her in-laws about his absence.
